At RGB Imaging, we believe that photography and design are catalysts to inspire people to action, help businesses connect with their customers and give artists the tools to share compelling stories with the world. We provide Photoshop training, workflow, color management and asset management consulting to help visual artists and their companies leverage the power of digital tools to accomplish their goals more effectively and efficiently than ever before.
Our work centers around three key concepts to streamline workflow efficiency while improving image quality.
Structure
Do the physical components and processes of the workflow naturally guide the user from concept to output as efficiently as possible? Are photographs, logos and design standards easy to find and use? Are bottlenecks and redundant steps eliminated? Are technical barriers removed to allow the user to concentrate on the art and the design?
Our workflow assessments take a holistic view of your workflow, examining each stage of the workflow and proposing steps to optimize all of the workflow processes from image capture or input through output and archiving.
Skills
Do your employees have the skills they need to articulate and execute their ideas within their output medium? Do they understand the challenges and opportunities each medium presents? Do they have the vision and the skill to make photos engage the five senses and open a window to the world?
Through customized, small-group training and mentoring sessions your employees will learn techniques to give photos depth and dimension, develop Photoshop Actions, prepare designs according to print specifications and deliver files that reproduce reliably.
Tools
Most software applications are developed independently and don’t integrate well with other applications in your workflow. For example, InDesign doesn’t know anything about your proofing system. This gap requires you to serve as the bridge between two segments of the workflow. We solve this disconnect by developing simple software solutions to serve as the glue that holds together your workflow or automates repetitive tasks. This shields artists from unnecessarily complex or technical areas of an application and allows them to concentrate on the creative and billable aspects of their job.
